Our Team:

Chryssanthi (Chris) Rados - Principal Dentist (GDC number: 76655)
Chris graduated from the University of Witwatersrand (1999) in South Africa. She worked in Broxbourne in a predominantly private practice for more than 12 years before taking over the Ashcroft Dental Surgery in 2012 after Mrs. Leila Kanji's retirement. She has been dedicated to uplifting the practice, which has received a beautiful makeover within the last year. As a dentist she is gentle, kind and compassionate. She is always willing to listen to patient concerns and put them at ease.

Chris has a special interest in Endodontics and Cosmetic Dentistry and constantly attends courses to maintain a high standard of dentistry.

Outside of work, Chris enjoys spending time with her family, going to the theatre and travelling. She is also fluent in Greek and Afrikaans.

Shama Shah - Dentist (GDC number: 150515)
Shama qualified from University of Bristol and has worked in Private and Mixed practice for over 8 years. She has gained valuable experience in all aspects of general and cosmetic dentistry. Her kind and approachable nature is reflected in the way she treats her patients with care, gentleness and empathy, ensuring she delivers the highest quality of care. Although she enjoys all the different aspects of dentistry, she has a keen interest in dental implants and root canal treatment.

She has furthered her post graduate training in Implantology at the prestigious Eastman Dental Institute, London and The ITI education course in Bern, Switzerland. She successfully completed her Membership of Joint Dental Faculty Examinations from the Royal College of Surgeons (England).

She has been on the General Dental Council's (GDC) Investigating Committee which is a statutory committee of the council.

She enjoys travelling, trying different cuisines, zumba and water sports. She has been involved with medical and educational volunteering projects in Kenya.

Paraskevi (Vivian) Doumanis - Dentist (GDC number: 206357)
Viv graduated from the University of the Witwatersrand, South Africa, in 2005. She has continued to further develop her interests within:

• Restorative and Cosmetic Dentistry: white fillings, crowns, veneers and whitening procedures.

• Paedodontics (child & infant dentistry): Dr. Viv firmly believes in working tirelessly to teach, and encourage children to care for their teeth. 

In addition, she believes that facial aesthetics has an important place in dental practice and over the last 5 years has been developing this interest further by completing her certification for Botulinum Toxin and Dermal Fillers in Facial Aesthetics, from the Innomed Training Academy. 

Her priority above all, is to ensure that under her care, patients have a well maintained, functioning bite and a healthy smile.

Kate Storey - Dental Nurse (GDC number: 120841)
Kate has been a dental nurse for over 20 years, the last 5 being at Ashcroft. She likes the variety of work and the people she works with. She walks her German Shepherd every morning before work. Her family and friends are important to her and she loves socialising.

Rachel Devonshire - Dental Nurse (GDC number: 149962)
Rachel has worked and trained as a Dental Nurse here Ashcroft for the last 15 years. She enjoys the variety being a dental nurse especially root canal treatments and has started to nurse for dental implants. Outside of work, her main hobby is football for which she holds a Watford fc season ticket but also enjoys going to away matches. She also enjoys reading, rooting out in London, socialising in pubs and restaurants.

Nicky Collard - Dental Receptionist
Nicky has been with the practice for over 12 years. She enjoys working with the public and takes pleasure in getting to know the patients and being able to catch up with them when they come in. She likes working as a team and likes the relaxed atmosphere here at the dental surgery.

Diane Spillane
Diane has been working in the dental field for the past 35 years, working for a specialist dentist in endodontics for 15 years. She is now happy working in General Dental Practice at Ashcroft. She has an out going personality and loves meeting and caring for her patients. Outside of work, Diane and her husband enjoy going on cruise holidays. She has two gorgeous grand daughters and loves spending family time together

Caren has been working at the practice since 2017 and thoroughly enjoys her role as a receptionist, working with a lovely friendly team. Coming from a hairdressing background she is used to chatting with people and putting them at ease. Outside of work, she enjoys cooking for her family, pilates with her daughter and walking her dog

Rahul Savjani - Associate Dentist
Qualification - BDS (Birm 2017)
GDC No - 270981

Rahul qualified as a dentist from the University of Birmingham in 2017. Rahul has a keen interest in Minimally Invasive Restorative Dentistry and Preventative dentistry with particular passion in management and treatment planning of anxious patients. As an undergraduate he was selected for prize viva's in Orthodontics and selected to study a special study module in his final year focusing on Periodontal Surgery taught by world leading specialist Prof I Chapple.
Rahul is currently undergoing further studies to attain a Postgraduate diploma in Restorative and Aesthetic dentistry with the globally renowned Dr Monik Vasant at the Fresh Dental Institute.
Outside of dentistry Rahul is a regular badminton player and loves to follow cricket and football.
